Banning AI tools in schools is the Luddite approach to education. There is a saying that says we should not prepare our children for the things we needed at their age, but should give them the tools and knowledge they need for their future.

In an increasingly AI-driven and digital world, students must be familiar with AI technologies and banning them in schools will leave students ill-prepared for future job markets where AI literacy is becoming essential. Many countries are investing heavily in AI education. Banning AI tools in schools will disadvantage students in terms of global competitiveness.

AI tools have the potential to enhance the educational experience. It can provide personalized learning experiences, adapt to individual student needs, and offer instant feedback. Banning these tools mean missing out on valuable educational opportunities.

Not only do students benefit from AI, but it can also be a powerful tool for educators. AI tools can help teachers streamline administrative tasks, such as grading, allowing them to focus more on teaching and improving overall efficiency in the education system. Using gamified learning platforms and AI-driven educational games can make learning more engaging and fun, increasing student motivation.

Implementing AI tools in schools should be done thoughtfully and with safeguards to protect students and educators and ensure that the technology serves educational goals effectively. Banning it will be an overreaction that will set back the education of those who will ultimately build humankind's future legacy.
