It is hard to understand what happened with you based on the limited information you share, but I would ask some questions in response:

What did you do?

What went right? What went wrong?

What did you learn from what happened?

What did you do different after learning those lessons?

Accomplishment is a journey. It is easy to say that doing things that others recommend, or teach, did not work for you, or made you happier, or more successful. It is easy to complain, or criticise. It is easy being a victim, because then responsibility is deferred or deflected. What did you do to make these lessons your own?

The best lessons, processes or short-cuts will not make life better if it is not supported by the right growth mindset and a strong foundation of knowing yourself, knowing your purpose, your strengths, and your values and beliefs. And chasing the wrong goals, or even the right goals for the wrong reasons will never satisfy you.

I have tried many approaches to making my life better. Sometimes it worked, sometimes it did not. When it worked I stuck with it. When it did not, I changed my approach. And sometimes I tried something that did not work, and much later in my path of learning it worked the second time around. It was not that the lesson was bad, but I needed to mature to the point where I was ready for it and understood what is needed for it to work

If you are serious about achieving a life that fulfills you, maybe think about finding a good coach and revisit what you really want and the best way to get it. Or don't!
