Reading a 100 books a year makes you special in a world where most people cannot get past six or seven books in a year. Boasting about it makes you an insufferable ass! I read more than even the 100 books annually you mentioned for one reason only. It makes me happy to step into different worlds and bring what I learn there back to my life. It is all for me and for my enjoyment.
