To be honest, this is one of the most annoying misperceptions you can create. It is my guess that you are playing to the lazy and weakminded fraction of an audience that does not like reading.

So let's look at some of the super-rich people you may not be aware of.

Warren Buffett, the greatest investor the world has known, spends around five to six hours a day just reading. His advice, for people seeking succes, is to set a goal of reading at least 500 pages a day. A day! His view is that knowledge builds up over time like compound interest.

Bill Gates has stated many times that his favourite way to learn, is to sit down with a book. He read so fervently that his parents had to institute a “no reading policy” at the dinner table. His ultimate tip for success is to read more. He focuses on reading 50+ books a year.

Oprah Winfrey has called reading "her personal path to freedom."

Mark Cuban focused on reading for three hours every day, just to learn more about the industries he works in. Cuban has said this worked wonders at the start of his career. He says, "Anyone could buy the same books and magazines. The same information was available to anyone who wanted it. Turns out most people didn't want it."

And the richest man in the world - Elon Musk?. Whenever anyone asks him how he learned to build rockets, he says, 'I read books. ' Not only does he read them, he devours them. About his own reading habits he claims to have spent as much as 10 hours a day reading as a teenager.

Maybe these people don't qualify for your list of Super-Rich, but I will rather go for their advice!
